From 1969-1976, William R. Christoph served in the Marine Corp as a USMC Captain. He was also an Infantry Platoon Commander in Vietnam and a Cobra Helicopter Gunship Pilot.
In 1978, William graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School. After obtaining his license to practice law in 1979, he served as a Deputy San Diego City Attorney in the Criminal Division.
Since entering private practice in 1980 as a DUI and Criminal Defense attorney, William has handled several thousand DUI cases as well as theft, fraud, drugs, assault, domestic violence, hit and run, all types of other misdemeanors and felonies for North County, He has also helped clean-up criminal records with expungements.
