Nearly 2 years after my divorce decree was written and I continue to resolve transfer of fund issues because of Mykells failure to drat a QDRO. NO communication. Everything she told me has been false. Will need to seek additional legal assistance. I think she was intimidated by Deb Albiston and Dale Barrett.
This attorney has 0 business in being a GAL and handling children's lives. She lacks ethics, emotional control, and she does not investigate or does her job. She just shows up in court and makes extreme recommendations that traumatize children and families, allows abuse to occur to the children and to cover her lack of work she shifts the blame to the parent that is being abused along with the children. She is not collaborative with attorneys and most of them dislike her and are not willing to work with her. The best thing that she did for my case and my child is withdrawing from the case, and we were blessed with an individual that cared about humans and her job. Mykell should have never taken the responsibility to become a GAL and make recommendations for families. If she is your GAL do everything in your power to replace her otherwise your family will really endure traumatic results, and the custody case will be evaluated properly. This lawyer is a waste of time and money. Your better off getting a court appointed. She charges a arm and a leg and isn't worth a value meal. RUN.,,,
She has no interest in listening to what is important and what her client has to say. Communication skills are abysmal. I have lost a year and now need to hire a lawyer to clean up her mess.
Ms. Messman is a terrible lawyer. She is incompetent and doesn't know what she is doing. She told me and my son that the Commonwealth Attorney's did not make plea bargains for any type of felony. She said that this was the way it was done. This was a total lie. I spoke to several other attorneys and they said that this was not true. She took my money and never returned any calls. Ms. Messman is the worst lawyer in the world. Public defender would have done a better job than her.
