Hired Attorney

This attorney has 0 business in being a GAL and handling children's lives. She lacks ethics, emotional control, and she does not investigate or does her job. She just shows up in court and makes extreme recommendations that traumatize children and families, allows abuse to occur to the children and to cover her lack of work she shifts the blame to the parent that is being abused along with the children. She is not collaborative with attorneys and most of them dislike her and are not willing to work with her. The best thing that she did for my case and my child is withdrawing from the case, and we were blessed with an individual that cared about humans and her job. Mykell should have never taken the responsibility to become a GAL and make recommendations for families. If she is your GAL do everything in your power to replace her otherwise your family will really endure traumatic results, and the custody case will be evaluated properly. May God teach her compassion, empathy & work ethic

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
