Ron represented me in a vehicular manslaughter case that I faced in Santa Barbara where the prosecutor was seeking to put me in prison for 12 years for a crime I did not commit. Ron Bamieh did a great job of fighting for me; he was well prepared, aggressive in my defense and his team of experts and investigators did everything possible to make sure that the jury and the judge saw the truth. Ron is fearless, he stood up to the DA trying to put me prison

Hired Attorney

We had a lot of trust that the begging and our matter did not turn out well. Sometimes things happen but it is not always the attorneys doing. In this instance, we relied on our attorneys to advise us but the courts did not agree with the merits, if any, of our case. In hindsight, we should have saved our money and/or gone with another lawyer.

    Award by Downtown Ventura Rotary Club for his tangible and significant assistance to further a better understanding and friendly relations among peoples of the world; in 2009 Bamieh and Erickson was given a Circle of Excellence Award in recognition of the firm's achievement of attaining the “The Best of the The Best” in small law firm business.
    In 2011 the Ventura County Criminal Bar Association awarded Ron the Richard Erwin Award as Ventura County Defense Attorney of the Year. The Award symbolizes excellence in advocacy and a dedication to clients. Ron is now the only individual in Ventura County History to be named Prosecutor of the Year (1996) and Defense Attorney of the Year (2011).
    Ron has consistently remained active in his community. Ron has taught Law as a Professor at the Ventura College of Law, teaching Advanced Evidence and Criminal Procedure, and continues to volunteer time at local high schools teaching constitutional law classes and mock trial. He was a board member of Big Brothers/Big Sisters, was on the Board of the Rubicon Theater, and is the actively involved in Downtown Rotary. Ron is also a key fund-raiser for the Children's Cancer and Blood Disease Program and Resource Library in Ventura County Hospital.
