I’m hoping my review helps some others understand some of the other reviews left on here. I just used him for my child custody case after I got word of mouth, that he was good. At first it was like any other consultation I’d taken. Nothing stood out or seemed special. Communication was mostly through email and some calls. I called a few times one of them he apologized and said he’d just taken on 3 other cases, which worried me (as it would anyone). Days before my court date, I was concerned they weren’t prepare due to minimal conversation. The day before, he called asked questions and talked me through it. I felt much better and even told my family I felt he was prepared. The day of, he was very communicative. Encouraging and positive. We talked some things through before and seemed to have me relaxed. My personal experience with Mr. Bain was a great one! He always responded to my phone calls and kept up with my case without me asking him to. He is very polite yet aggressive in court when needed. I ended up having to leave it all in his hands as I was long distance yet he proved very capable and I am so pleased with the results we got.
Out of state father who needed counsel for family law issue. Contacted Bruce last minute (Day before) about the case and was very knowledgeable on out of state custody issues. Both him and his Paralegal Shauna were very quick to respond to both my questions and filings. Case was dismissed and my ex was forced to come back to the home state to address the original order. Would highly recommend!

Not a good attorney. Does not return phone calls or emails. Literally didn’t hear from him for a stint of 6 months. I hired him to handle a very simple child support case. I literally got nothing. Took my money and did not do anything he said. 3500 dollars down the drain. Do not hire this man.
Does not return calls or emails, does not keep client updated on status, does not appear to have his clients as a priority. Says he will do something and doesn't do it.
