Worst GAL you can have for your children. He will cost you money, time, mental anguish, PTSD, and pit your children against you. He hates women and a therapist for your children is needed before and after having him in your custody battle. He should not be practicing as a GAL. Your children will be ruined and will need therapy for life, including yourself.
There is no way that these reviews can be legitimate. Read the reviews from other sites. This is the most unprofessional law firm I have ever dealt with. Rude, discriminatory, and incompetent. I've worked with a lot of business in my professional career and I have never been treated in such a disgusting manner. Please, do your diligent research before contacting them. There are much better firms to represent.
Disgusting and extremely UNPROFESSIONAL law firm. Was with Riggs Abney through legal shield for about 6 months. Without any notice or reason why Riggs Abney canceled my account. Riggs Abney canceled my legal shield account without any refund which I had just paid my monthly memberships. The worst part, I was in the middle of having them help with drafting a letter. Riggs Abney told me they would be in contact with me in 24 hours. When they didn't call back for 2 days, I called them to find out my account was canceled. They then transferred me to Legal shield where Legal Shield notified me that Riggs Abney canceled my account 2 days earlier. "SCUMBAGS" I would not use or recommend Riggs Abney or legal shield since they treat people this way. Stay far away from both groups if you have any legal matters. It seems when you use the services that legal shield prides itself on and when you need them the most, only at that time do they cancel your account. Like a bad insurance company.
I made a Will with this law firm though a Legal Shield membership and the sent me several PDF drafts of my Will throughout the process. Whne I asked for a PDF of the finished Will to reprint a few pages as (the notary I used was new and messed it up) they refused to send me a PDF for 2 reasons. First reason was that 'We do not send PDF's of Wills for legal reasons', if this was the case why do I have 6 draft versions in my inbox, isn’t it essentially the same issue of sending legal document in PDF regardless if its draft or the final version? The second reason was 'you are no longer a client'. They did not give me any information on if I could just straight up pay for the document to be sent to me they just absolutely refused unless I signed up for another year of Legal Shield. They have absolutely no compassion and you should look elsewhere. Additionally it took the supervisor 4 weeks to call me back after I inquired about getting a PDF version.
wouldn't recommend anyone use this firm for civil rights violation(s)/case(s). forthcoming discrimination complaint against melvin c. hall will be filed with the oklahoma bar association 2018.
I have paid $750 for a letter of representation to the firm to be represented by Angela Klein. She quit or got fired and now I have no representation and nothing, other than one lengthy phone call with the defendant w which I was billed for, was done. This company is a farce with over 100 attorneys trying to get their feet wet. Very inept. No contact and arrogant when asked why. Avoid.
