We appreciate their services and would highly recommend their firm.
Norma Izzo is a terrible family lawyer. Her advice on the divorce decree condition for Child Support, Non Covered Expenses and Spousal Support, were 4X what the law stated and she just recommended to move with the process. There is a conflict of interest as she recommends "Collaborative Divorce" with her mother, that costed hundreds of thousands and was ineffective. She comes unprepared to trial, and when beaten by opposing counsel for clear lack of preparation and terrible trial record "she recommends is time to find a new lawyer", of course after thousands of dollars spent on her and lost to the opposing party. All Show, No Results. I'm surprised she got hired after J&S fallout.
I retained this firm with a former IRS collection attorney to help settle tax trust fund amounts through an offer in compromise. After the final appeals attempt, I agreed to a settlement amount and the attorney "forgot" to send the appeals officer an acceptance of offer. I now have to start all over, with a better job and the new OIC amount will increase $90k. After paying 300 dollars / hour for counsel, how can you tell your client you "forgot"!
I am co-administrator of an intestate estate. We (the administrators) hired JSS to be the estate attorneys. We were passed off to several attorneys in the firm, but worked primarily with Mr. Lassen. The estate was openned in 2006 and is not yet settled. We have found JSS to be unresponsive which has led to unnecessary delays. Most importantly, they have given us advice which is inconsistent with Arizona inheritance laws. They refuse to take action to amend their mistakes.
This attorney can’t be trusted, took $12,000 from me only to withdraw from my case over my objection. I didn’t have money after that to hire another lawyer, and my case failed as a result. Once he found out the case was more difficult than he thought, he just washed his hands of it. He’s also deeply involved with Judge O Neal, a judge with a myriad of accusations of fraud and crooked dealings, all of which can be found online in a credible az central article
