Howard Levitt's strong reputation is earned. Never met a sharper negotiator and his knowledge of labour law is encyclopedic. He is a seasoned and successful litigator, but that description doesn't sufficiently capture how much Mr. Levitt gets done through sheer intellect, persuasion and charm. He steered us away from (costly) litigation and settled a protracted employment dispute by moving rapidly, skillfully and with laser focus. Would recommend him to my best friends.
0 stars if possible for Howard Levitt & this firm. What an absolutely horrific experience! 6 different lawyers over the course of 5 wasted years as the firm cycles through staff at a tremendous rate. At 2 different points, I had to fire the Levitt firm. The first occasion instigated by learning that my lawyer had left the firm & no one bothered to advise me for months. Howard Levitt called pleading to give the firm another chance & he promised he'd assign a “more experienced” lawyer. Howard stated my first lawyer at his firm was “lazy with no follow through”, & “I cannot tell you how glad I am that he is gone”. I was provided Lawyer #2’s name but after another 6 weeks I hadn’t heard from her. Nevertheless, I received a bill from her as she transferred my file to yet another lawyer-Lawyer #3 asked for a call to go over everything again & I was charged for this catch-up even though none of these lawyer changes were my fault. I fired the firm again and they put a lien on any settlement
