They seemed to always be in a hurry and rush. The person I remember talking with was very short and abrupt. Straight to the point. I wished they would take more time to make you feel comfortable.
available for a reasonable price, only not as well versed in NM taxation and revenue dept. issues as I personally needed
Very slow response time, vague responses to most questions, nothing very clear.
Initial court appearance lawyer just off 2 week vacation and was clueless on my defense. Was more interested in quoting me on how expensive he was, if I took to trial, rather than simply settling NOW.
I hired Russ to defend my son after he had promised to work hard. After paying a large retainer, all Russ did was ask for continuances. When the time for trial came he backed out because my son would now accept a plea bargain Russ suggested. After his departure a public defender took over because Russ had taken all of my money. The Public defender got my son probation. Had my son taken the deal Russ suggested, he would be in prison now. He is a free man because he didn't listen to Russ.HiCSBk
If using them via legal shield expect atrocious disrespect. The attorneys will laugh in your face and escalate situations. They will hang up on you if you complain. I called about a business question and the attorneys didn’t bother to listen, but instead point fingers and treat me like trash. A truly disgusting group of people.
Jami is headstrong, rude, and controlling. She treats her clients like she should be treating an enemy. She does not listen, chooses to do what she wants, and overcharges for work that she does not perform. She is no good at child custody, gets personally worked up by judges decisions, and even broke an order of protection by revealing the address of a spouse who had their address hidden. If she doesn’t get her way she quits. Horrible experience! Run away.
If you’re looking for an attorney with no ethics or intellect, he’s your man. Mr. Stevens cost me over $60k and was a total failure. My case was dismissed and he produced zero favorable results. A year wasted. He failed to grasp even the most basic concepts such as proper service or jurisdiction. When I told him to act in my best interests he did the opposite, while billing me for work he said he wouldn’t do. He threatened to quit - twice - the moment I wanted to end the litigation war that only favored his interests. He broke client-attorney privilege in black & white writing. He was unresponsive and terrible at communicating. He even had a scheduling conflict on our hearing date that he didn’t catch until the day before. The judge did not respect him at all. He went against a pro se and was humiliated. He robbed me & my young daughter. He should not be allowed to practice law. His strategy is to bully, intimidate and overwhelm - not by application of the law, but abuse of it.
Working with Mr Steven was a very bad experience, he didn’t defend me, it was a disaster, plus he over charged me severand as a consequence of his poor service I had not choice and I had to hire another attorney in the middle of the case I don’t recommend Mr Steven as a family lawyer.
Marshall Hunt seemed like a lazy, disorganized lawyer and like he was just there to collect a paycheck. It felt like he didn’t care about my case and passed off the work to his jr associate or paralegal.
