  • Pro Bono Services

At Herzog Fox & Neeman, our commitment to social equity is deeply embedded in our values. We believe that access to justice should not be a privilege, and our pro bono efforts reflect this principle. Through dedicated legal support for underserved communities, non-profits, and social causes, we strive to create a fairer society. Our lawyers contribute their expertise to promote human rights, support marginalized groups, and drive systemic change—ensuring that the power of the law serves not only business interests but also the greater good. We have a long tradition of giving pro bono legal advice to individuals and organisations in need. All staff members can freely propose recipients to the Pro Bono Committee, which also sets priorities for our pro bono efforts. Some of the organisations with whom we've recently work include: ILAN and the centre for the rights of people with disabilities – Herzog collaborates with ILAN, an association dedicated to helping people with disabilities in Israel and abroad. Recently, we advised ILAN on the case of a disabled child and her family whose request for municipal assistance was denied. We are happy to report that the family is now receiving the help they deserve. The International Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists – As the legal arm of the Jewish people, the IJL has been resolute in its commitment to combat antisemitism, racism, xenophobia, Holocaust denial and the delegitimization of the State of Israel for over 50 years. Herzog has been a member of the IJL roughly since its inception, and our Chairman, Mr. Meir Linzen, presides as Chairman of the organization. Yeladim – The firm provides legal guidance to the Yeladim association, which acts as guardian to children lacking an adequate family environment. Innovation: Africa – The office advises the non-profit's branches in Israel and the U.S. in their efforts to use Israeli solar and water technology to bring clean drinking water and electricity to villages across 10 African countries. Since 2008, it has established over 1000 solar panel and water systems providing access to clean water, better education, refrigeration for medicine and vaccines and food security to over 5 million people. Other areas where we have provided pro bono assistance include representing the victims of sex trafficking and advice to LGBTQIA+ organisations in Israel.
