I appreciate the team that work with me and helped me settle my case. For the most part everything was easy going other than I'd have to call in most of the time for updates rather than being called to let me know what was going on.

They were poor at keeping us informed of progress in our case. We constantly had to reach out to them, only to find that some action had been mistakenly omitted, resulting in further delaying resolution on the claim.

Since the accident didn't net the law firm a tremendous amount of money, they dragged their feet dealing with the case. I constantly had to contact them for updates, as they seemed to ignore my needs. Seldom did they contact me with any news, as if my case was on 'the back burner' and then when the case finally did get resolved, I felt that the 'assistant' that was assigned to me displayed the attitude that her time was too valuable to be bothered with my petty little case!

They DO NOT WANT TO GO TO COURT PERIOD! I was a client for 2.5 years on a slam-dunk case. I saw Mr Yonker ONCE only bc he passed me in the lobby. They are lazy and cheap. They actually told me “I don’t want to hear any crying if you lose in court.” When, after more than 2 years later it was only 6 weeks away. Of course, realizing they are NOT aggressive attorneys, I settled. Naturally, they made thousands more than I- who has permanent back and eye injuries. And forget about speaking with your actual atty- instead I primarily dealt with an assistant, Kara, not even a paralega, who blatantly lied to me twice. Take my advice: don’t hire a lawyer you see on a city bus! I hope I spare someone the disappointment I suffered.

Winters and Yonkers strung me along for 15 months and when the other insurance company denied my claim they said it wasn't worth their time anymore without fighting for me or presenting my evidence. It wasn't worth their time because i didn't break a bone or get hurt woese so there wasn't going to be much money in it for them. So much for fighting for my rights and the other party just gets away with it. Not worth their time? Meanwhile i just have to deal with more pain and suffering .
