My son was unconscious in the vehicle with a passenger. 911 was called. My son was given a DUI. I wanted to hire a firm outside of the Ocala area, The ad states that they are out of Orlando, Fl. After paying $3500, my son was assigned to an Ocala attorney. The attorney immediately threatened my son with 180 days in jail if he did not accept the munimum plea deal that had not been offered. He also admitted that he did not know the Orlando attorney's. We reported descrepencies in the arrest affidavit, police report, discovery, and while viewing the video with the attorney we noticed that the EMT was on the scene, but the officer escorted my son out of view of the cameras. The attorney refused to let us see the rest of the video. I kept requesting a response from the Orlando law firm, without a response. The Orlando office finally responded, via email, to informed me that they are filing a Motion to Withdraw, and I will not get my $3500 back. They did not file anything to help. Why?

After taking the retainer, my arrested family member sat for 41 days in jail without a visit to discuss his case and for 5 of those weeks with absolutely no way to reach to his attorney (Richard Zaleski), then was ignored when he finally got private email after I begged his attorney to set him up. I’ve documented dozens & dozens of calls, texts & emails to owners & staff at the firm that went unanswered, begging them to visit to talk about the case or let him know what was going on, despite promise after promise to me from the attorney that he was going to see him. The relationship was terminated. The new firm was there to see him in 24 hours. They haven't refunded the $4,500 retainer after doing no work for their client & rescheduling court dates because they weren’t prepared. They gave me back his paperwork and in that file negligently included personal and case documents for 8 other clients of theirs including medical papers & SS#. Two weeks & still no calls back.

Part 1:Our journey with this firm started in March of this year when my brother made a decision that has changed our entire lives. We started to research attorneys and came across Smith and eulo. They had excellent reviews, we called and initially spoke to Ken, he reviewed my brother's case and told us that they have had several cases like his, and gotten probation or charges dropped. We hired them based on this conversation, hiring an attorney wad not easy for us, we don't just have thousands of dollars lying around, we are struggling just like every one is, but we literally put my brother's life in their hands. Ken assigned our case to Matt futch, and all I can say is do not put your life in this man's hands. He failed my brother and I hope he knows the lives he has destroyed. From the beginning he did as little as possible

Part 2: this review is the second part of our story of our journey with Smith and eulo. My brother was the main caretaker of his 5 year old daughter, because of the nature of his case he lost rights to her, his significant other is a heavy alcoholic and cannot care for her, so dcf had us take her. For months with the loss of his daughter and job and friends my brother spiraled and started drinking, we have hundreds of messages begging Matt to help us get his rights back, begging him to get him put of that house he was in because their relationship was volatile, he was always to busy, he never even took the time to meet my brother. My brother went to rehab and was doing amazing, because his insurance ran out he had to come back for a few days, we begged Matt to ask a judge if he could stay with us, because we knew something bad would happen at that house, well they got into a fight and my brother was arrested

These are my brother’s words I hired Eulo&Smith in April 2024 to cover my 2023 & 2024 Polk Case as well as my 2024 VOP in Hillsbough. I met Marie taylor who charged me $3000 for my VOP and 2024 Cass. I also Paid her $10,000 plus 1.5x totaling to $15,000 for my 2023 Polk case. She came to meet me and told me things that she was not able to do. She promised alot that did not come. She ignored me and my family for weeks. She missed both of my court dates as well as missed promises to come see me. I was told in July 2024 that she quit the law firm. I was then appointed Ms. Shannon Bailey which works for Eulo&Smith who constantly ignored my family again as well as her client, me, in jail. She made promsies to come see me and never came. In the past 6 months, I've only seen attoneys who were fill ins from the law firm on my last 4 manditory doctetings. The judge was livid as it does not take 6 months to articulate a deal that was supposed to be settled. Eulo&Smith took on too many cases.
