I felt as though I was doing all the work in my divorce and I had to keep telling him what to do. If I had to do all over again, I would not have gone with the lawyer from that firm. Would have chosen someone else. He was nice but very busy and not aggressive enough for what needed to be done to handle the case.
I had to do a lot of the work and constantly had to call him to find out what was going on or to make him proceed further on things.
Working with Roger was a pleasant experience. He was cordial and responsive. I contacted him for an agreement of sale to purchase some land from my neighbor. I met with him for about 15 minutes and he suggested a deed of easement because it was for a driveway. The neighbor agreed initially. Roger provided a draft copy of the deed of easement which I gave to my neighbor for review. My neighbor changed his mind about selling the land. I informed Roger who charged me the full fee of $250 we initially discussed. He said he gave me a discount off the $500 to $600 worth of time he spent.
Atty. Noon did nothing unless specifically asked to do so. I had a no-fault divorce where my ex and I worked out our own settlement and custody issues and it still took over a year for the paperwork to be filed-after a month I asked for an update on the progress, received a rude response in email, and then found out that he did not file all the necessary paperwork and needed my signature on an additional document. I would never recommend him to ANYONE.
Just a pathetic organization. Sent 2 emails, they never responded. Called, talked to woman rep and explained situation involving elderly mother after father passed. She said that attorney was busy and it may be a few weeks until he could take case and she would contact me the following week. That was 4 weeks ago. They have no compassion for elderly, suffering mental illness, nor the family of.
We were referred to Mr. Bathgate by another legal firm. Mr. Bathgate's secretary contacted us and a time was set for Mr. Bathgate to call us the next day to discuss the case. That time came and went with no call so we contacted his office to be advised by his secretary he was in a conference at that time. We rescheduled for Mr. Bathgate to contact us at 2pm to discuss the situation. 2:30 rolled around and now 3:30 with no phone call.
