About John Davis Lewis IV

J.D. Lewis, IV graduated from Martin County High School and graduated from Duke University in 1995 after four years on a full athletic scholarship. He then attended the University of Florida, College of Law where he studied a number of varied areas of practice before developing a thirst for trial practice.

JD honed his skills with the Public Defender’s Office from 1998 through 2000, at which time he became a member of the Law Firm of Lewis, Mortell & Lewis.

JD is also a member of Leadership Martin County, Leadership Florida (invitation only) and has been serving his community for the last ten years by volunteering on Boards such as the United Way of Martin County, the YMCA of Martin County, The Treasure Coast Sporting Commission, Hibiscus House of Martin County and last but not least, The Boys and Girls Club of Martin County.

the guy have a really poor representation , have a really bad education, using bad word all the time and show angers problems he dont provide good manners at all is like a ghetto attorney he only care money and dont listen just talk and the client go to jail because he dont work at all just try to get money dont hired him you will loose your time and your money and when he dont wanna represent you say something against you for leave your case and put you worse in front the judge .

Hired Attorney

In my opinion JD Lewis IV handled my civil suit case in a unprofessional and incompetent manor. I was forced 2 call the Florida bar twice in order for him to return my calls. He dragged this case out for so long that I gave up out of frustration. Therefore I cannot in good conscience recommend this attorney to anyone.

Hired Attorney

JD absolutely refused to answer or return phone calls, and had missed several in-office appointments. My case should have been tried in civil court, but JD allowed the prosecutor to completely run the show, and never made an offense. It was a felony case, and I was the only one to be deposed (after a year of continuances). The list of incompetency goes on, but you get the point; stay far away!! I was almost put in prison for his lack of effort.
