Hired Law Firm

Steven Clair holds himself out as an experienced family law attorney. However, he fails to perform even the most basic functions as an attorney. He makes big promises he does not keep. Steve Clair lost arguments because he failed to prepare counter arguments, failed to use any evidence, and failed to demonstrate the most basic competence of the family law process. You maybe thinking, this evidence may not have been reliable. Let me tell you why this evidence was at least reliable enough to present. It was an affidavit from another attorney, that is respected in the community, and government documentation verifying address. No hearsay. Simply cold hard facts. When Steve Clair pretended to retire, he failed to return our file or refund any money. He had been paid in full. Our lack of court documents right before trial put us at a great disadvantage. Our case file has never been returned. This guy is dishonest and should be disbarred.

Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
