I paid $5K retainer. Had a few calls and communications in the first 30 days. 3 months go by with basically no communication. And I then get an additional invoice for $12K. I was totally shocked at the lack of communication, lack of client expectation to the costs and even the time it took to send me an invoice. Had I received any information as to the escalating cost I would have ended my relationship immediately. Very, very poor customer service.

This person must be mistaking us for another firm since we work on a contingency fee arrangement with our clients and only get paid 33 1/3% of whatever we recover for them when we settle their case. We do not send clients invoices.
