My wife and I needed an attorney to plan our Estate. We contacted Fred Vilbig at Law Matters, LLC for assistance. We were able to set up an appointment timely. He was very thorough and explained our options regarding a Trust/Will/etc. He spent quality time with us to assure we were satisfied with our decision. We appreciate Mr. Vilbig’s clarity as he educated us regarding our decisions, and we both felt very comfortable with the outcome. Mr Vilbig assisted me as I sold my old house and moved into an independent living facility He highlighted issues with the Independent Living contract. I followed his good advice and asked that some items he recommended be included in the contract. Throughout the process Fred was responsive to all email inquiries. The entire plan was put together in a very well put together binder with step by step instructions for us and our heirs. I would recommend Fred Vilbig for anyone needing a comprehensive estate plan.

The ONLY time I spoke with Mr. Vilbig he was cordial and confident. However, it was apparently assumed I knew probate law, and the case dragged for 1 1/2 yrs w/no help from him. The only other times I was allowed to talk to him on the phone he inquired how I was going to pay him & reminded me that he MUST be paid for the probate case. In my opinion he is uncaring and greedy. I will NEVER use him or recommend him to anyone. I tell people specifically NOT to use him.
