I had a very positive experience working with Allison, despite the nature of divorce not lending itself to positive experiences. My case was ultimately settled according to terms that I found acceptable, and we did not have to go to trial. Additionally: I am transgender, and have often had unpleasant interactions with people because of that. Allison's office never once misgendered me, and even helped me secure my legal name change independently from the divorce proceedings when my ex's unwillingness to communicate and the added complication of Covid made the divorce stretch on.
