Was very disappointed! never seen my lawyer till sitting beside him at the hearing. And I kept asking if we were just wasting our time,and wouldn't use any of my current medical records. But the only good thing was there was no cost to me. The paralegal said that if we won it would be a large amount of money,because they were having to go back all the way too 1999-2004 because 99 was the last year I worked,but I just had my family doctor's records, because we couldn't afford to go to any one
Can't speak directly with a lawyer, specifically the one handling my case. Don't feel like an important client, only a file on a desk somewhere.
Lack if communication is an issue. Being put on hold and no return call to messages. At one point I was told it would be 2 weeks and months went by called again still no response. Felt clueless causing anxiety and leaving me anxious.
Working with this attorney was aggravating. They never had an explanation on things I received or why. When we finally won our case I asked why I wasn't told that they already won and had received their 25% and the manager told me that's something I need to ask social security. When I had a question I asked the same manager about it and she straight told me, "you know I can't help u with that right?" I straight hung up on her. Now I can no longer leave a review on the Google website. Will never recommend to anyone!
DO NOT USE Parmele Law Firm...Save yourself from making a costly mistake like I did, trusting them to handle my Disability Claim with Social Security. What a horrible company! They don't care for you as a human being, regardless if you're disabled or not! All you are to them is a possible $ Meal Ticket. The way this company works is to drag out your claim as long as possible, exhausting all appeals, because this is where they start to earn their keep within the company and making money for the firm. The Social Security Administration caps their payment to a maximum of $6,000.00. Taken from your SSI Disability Back pay, before you ever see a dime, provided you actually received a favorable verdict. If this low life bottom feeder attorney is able to drag your benefit claim out, by filing appeal after appeal, this is when they can now start to bill you for an undisclosed amount they determine at the end of a successful case! Hire a "Real" attorney instead! Not a wannabee
Filed for SSI last year. They took my case and, during the few times they contacted me, I was told everything looked good. Then once my court hearing was scheduled, they called and suddenly told me I had no case and suggested that I cancel the hearing. Very unprofessional and a total waste of time. Avoid these jokers like the plague.
