Kostopoulos & Associates PLLC is a law firm with an office in Southfield, MI. At this office location, there is 1 lawyer practicing automobile accidents and injuries, bankruptcy, business law and 5 other areas of law.
At first I thought this firm was going to be good. Turns out to not be the case. I was left pretty much feeling like cattle and trash. I was ignored more times than I care to remember. I was quoted one price for their services, then given another after my case settled and told I had to pay it. No choice. And the new price was much higher than what I was originally quoted. I should have gone with the more expensive firm.
The service Rita Kostopoulos performed for me was a bankruptcy case. I had to post date checks for a year to pay her off. I ran into a problem for a month of not being able to pay. I called her office numerous times to let her know. I started bringing her money orders every other week and she has been putting through my checks causing bounce check fees equally $600 even though all this time I was paying her with money orders. She doesn't care and will do anything to get her money. Watch out!
I have called and emailed several different times with no reply. I did receive a call back only after I posted a review. I was told I would receive a full refund but only after I removed my review. I told them I would remove the reviews only after I received my refund. I have not received anything as of today.
They want your money. Once they get it and if you choose not to file they will not give it back. Do not let them convince you to give them a card number, because you could sign no documents agreeing to the bankruptcy but they will take your money anyways. Their office receptionist, Evan is really rude and keeps hanging up on me when I’m trying to speak to someone about how I get my money back. They’re giving me the run around and this seems like a scam. I got a lawyer and I’m going to see how they respond
In the beginning this were fine; until I moved to California to be with my husband for his kidney transplant. After that everything went downhill. After they racked up a huge bill; my case was filed for dismissal even though I requested a conversion. No one ever informed me if I was eligible for a conversion, or that the case was going to be dismissed. Very unprofessional - would not recommend.
