About Matthew R. Zatko

The Constitution is Non-Negotiable, and I'm proud to offer passionate representation to protect the rights of every one of my clients. As a native of Western Pennsylvania and a current area resident, I am strongly invested in the community. Since founding my Somerset criminal defense and personal injury law firm in Somerset in 1997, I have worked hard to protect the rights and best interests of the individuals and businesses I represent. In addition to my legal practice, I serve as president of the Somerset County Bar Association, serve on the board of Somerset Country Club and support numerous local initiatives to enhance the community.

I had some traffic citations that could have ruined everything I’ve worked so hard this past year to achieve. I called several local attorneys and public defenders, but Mr. Zatkos office were the only ones who really looked into my issues, so I knew right then and there that was the way to go. And it was. I was looking at jail time and he got my charges down to basically a small fine, and I am forever grateful. He has strong roots in somerset county, anyone who’s worked with him can tell you that. I attribute this life win to his knowledge and experience in his profession, and also very apparent; the relationships he’s built with local law enforcement and honorables was true and ever-present. I nearly gasped when I received the bill for the hearing too, it was less than half of what I expected. If you’re ever in trouble in somerset county, this is the man you want in your ring. Compassionate, knowledgeable, experienced, and thank goodness-affordable. You are a true saint Mr. Zatko

I found Matt on google and sent a request via his website after hours. Matt called me THAT EVENING to discuss the case. He wasted no time. He knew exactly what direction to take, created a calming environment and delivered on what he said he would. HE was there every step. Because of him, everything is being resolved with an outcome better than I thought possible. ‘Big’ firms don’t always equal better or knowledgeable. I’d pick Matt and his crew 1000 times over.

Attorney Matthew Zatko was cut throat at my trial, to the point and helped me win an extremely trying and difficult civil case that had been tormenting me the last five years. I was in need of a great family lawyer who was non-bias, who listened, and would fight on my behalf in an ugly custody case. I was recommend to see Attorney Zatko. Best choice that I’ve made, not only did he listen and fully grasp the situation without bias or judgement. He had everything sorted out in such a timely manner when my previously counsel took months to do even the simplest tasks. Attorney Zatko always had my best interest at heart when we spoke and how we approached my situation. He never took the easy way out. He never makes you feel like just another case or he’s in it for just your money. Attorney Zatko is wort it through through. I highly recommend him if you’re unsure of a legal circumstance or you’ve had a bad experience like I did with previous legal counsel, he will restore your confidence in knowing you’ll get the help you need. Not your typical average lawyer in all the good ways.

I had received a speeding ticket for 30 and above in a 55 mile zone in PA and was subject to Penndot department hearing. I had initially plead guilty to the offense ( oblivious of the fact that I would be subjected to penndot department hearing). I contacted Attorney Zatko who not only filed my case in the court of common pleas but also got all my points ( 5 points) down to zero and no department hearing. He was able to win me this case with his amazing skillset. I highly recommend Attorney Zatko.
