After interviewing many attorneys in the area, I am happy to say I hired Henry Goodrich Jr. to represent me in my custody case. I could tell he really cared and was not interested in just getting a judgement to be done with me and be paid and done for the day. After trying to file for divorce myself & getting denied twice. Mr. Goodrich made it easy & got it done!
I hired Mr. Goodrich for a very important case. DCFS was trying to take my only child away. I didn't have a lot of money but luckily I received my tax return in time to hire him. I gave the entire thing to him. I also gave him so much information/evidence to set the record straight and once he got the money, that's when he just stopped. He would show up in Juvenile Court and not say a word or object to anything. Not once did he enter anything into evidence and eventually I lost my only daughter. That was on 5/20/2020. I haven't spoke to her since that day. My daughter was 13 at the time and just lost her grandmother, my mom whom was her bestfriend, she also lost her mother a few years prior to that and was 13 and acting out. And when I tried to disipline her, she attempted to run away and did run away. But I slapped her very lightly and because of that I was charged with child abuse. The police couldn't even see the mark she insisted was there. Anyway, he is a horrible attorney.
I do not recommend this attorney. He is the biggest joke. I had my son physically taken from my arms by the NCP. Criminal charges were and I still did not get my baby back for over a year and had to hire another attorney. Do not waste your time or money. He is a scammer.
SAVE YOUR MONEY! He is the worst attorney ever.He never returns phone calls or messages. Doesn't file necessary,important court documents and is never available for appointments. Mine and my husbands case should have been settled in a few weeks not months.
THIS WAS THE WORSE ATTORNEY EVER. HE TOOK 4000 FROM MY DAUGHTER AND 2000 FROM MY DAUGHTER IN LAW. HENRY GOIDRICH JR NEEDS TO BE DISBARRED FROM PRACTICING LAW. HE WILL ACCEPT YOUR MONEY AND HAS A HISTORY OF NEVER SHOEING UP DURING COURT HEARINGS. MY DAUGHTER USED HENRY FOR HER DIVORCE AND THEN HE NEVER EVEN FILED HER DIVORCE AFTER COURT. I WISHED I HAD READ THESE REVIEWS PRIOR TO HIRING HIM. HENRY REPEATEDLY USED THE WORD COVID DURING ALL HIS COMMUNICATIONS WHY HE COULDN'T HANDLE HIS CLIENTS. SAVE YOURSELF SOME GRIEVE AND DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. HENRY HAS A HISTORY OF SIDING WITH HIS OPPONENT BECAUSE IF LACK OF KNOWLEDGE OF THE LAW. AGAIN BEWARE...
We came to Henry in need of help with custody issues last month. So far we have made little to no progress. We call and call no answer, we send text messages no return. His fees are low for a reason. They'll take your money and throw your case under other cases.
I was given very unprofessional service. My case was just thrown to the side and forgotten about even though I prepaid. A simple 103 divorce that should have taken a few weeks turned into months. Works out of his living room. Be weary of this individual.
