The firm's true genesis unfolds over 30 years ago when adversaries Sam Pond and Jerry Lehocky, both prominent figures in the workers' compensation arena, chose collaboration over continued courtroom battles. This partnership, initially at another law firm, left an indelible mark on Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation. With the later addition of Tom Giordano, the firm not only grew but also emerged as a leader in Social Security Disability practice.
In 2010, Sam Pond, Jerry Lehocky, and Tom Giordano established Pond Lehocky Giordano with a clear mission – prioritizing clients and making unwavering advocacy for injured workers the norm. Beyond their original Center City, Philadelphia office, the firm expanded to multiple locations across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In 2016, a significant move was made with the opening of a main office in Pittsburgh, led by partner Steve Miller, a native of Western Pennsylvania.
