Given his experience and his intelligence, Dave can almost always identify what to read from your case history (I had a decade-long case history). He can accurately assess what the decision maker will receive as important, relevant, and how much they can process. I am lucky that Dave accepted my case. I say that because he only accepts some cases, those requiring his expertise. His professionalism, integrity, and ethical values were all demonstrated during my work with him. To share: Dave does not waste time; does not stir the pot; cares about you and your kids; focuses on resolving the issues. He charges what he does because he applies his knowledge, intelligence, and experience to get the best possible outcome! Dave got my family the best possible outcome. He was the last attorney who helped wrap up a decade-long litigation that others were just not able to.

I hired Casey to help with my divorce, parenting plan/ custody and obtaining the stimulus checks that my ex-husband took from the children. I am so glad that I had Casey and his team by my side, representing me. Jamie and her team at McKinley Irvin are total experts with family law. I've dealt with a lot of family law attorneys over the past year and a half, so I have a diverse perspective on this. Frankly, the majority I've worked with were unethical, untrustworthy, or just disinterested in actually following the law, but not Jamie and her team. I do not state this lightly. She doesn't back down even under a lot of stress on tough cases, and her fees were very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Casey Sanders represented myself in a post educational support case and he did an exceptional job from beginning to end. He kept me informed as the case progressed and gave his excellent advise with my many questions. Nothing was ever sugar coated but instead he gave me accurate information as to how we should respond to every issue. Casey did everything he said he would and did his very best representing me. I wouldn't hesitate to refer anyone in need of family law questions to him.

I searched for reliable attorneys contacted these people the woman who answered after several rings was very rude and just seem like she did not want to help and connect me with an attorney was very odd I talk to me like I'm ignorant.

*1/5 Stars - Avoid This Firm Unless You Have Deep Pockets* I would strongly advise against hiring MCKINLEY IRVIN for your divorce proceedings. My experience with this firm was extremely disappointing and left me feeling exploited. The costs associated with their services are exorbitant, with tens of thousands of dollars required upfront. For the hefty price tag, I expected a high level of service and expertise. Unfortunately, what I got was subpar. The lawyers failed to provide clear answers to my questions, leaving me confused and uncertain throughout the process. Instead of guiding me through the necessary steps, they shifted tasks onto me, only to bill me for their supposed "review" of my work. Much of the work they requested was unnecessary and never utilized. Even after the divorce was finalized, I was left in the dark on how to utilize my divorce documents. You'd think that for the substantial fees paid, they would provide some level of post-divorce support.

Snohomish County Family Superior Court is corrupt as I was embedded. There needs to be a culture change to support mothers, fathers and children during hard-times, lawyers need to minimize conflict not increase conflict and pay off the judge and opposing counsel for more money. Renee Lee and Sharon Friedrich have reputaions that do not meet ethical standards per the law based on my real time expereince. They hired a GAL to support one-side not in fairness. Renee Lee and Sharon Friedrich have a serious conflict of interest. Envision also involved. Renee Lee and this law firm is described by the Snohomish County Court system as lazy and they are not held accountable for the the amount of money charged. Known for its reputation in Portland, OR, and beyond, McKinley Irvin fell far short of professional expectations. Courtney Bellio handled my family law case with prolonged communication delays, often leaving me uninformed at crucial stages. Strategy was unclear, and I found myself directing it—something I never anticipated from a reputable firm. The most troubling incident involved receiving confidential billing info for multiple clients—a severe privacy lapse that raises serious ethical concerns. When I alerted the firm, leadership's response was dismissive, downplaying the breach. If you’re considering family law representation in the Portland, Vancouver, or Seattle area, I urge you to explore alternatives. My experience with McKinley Irvin, particularly Courtney Bellio, was marked by poor communication, inadequate legal support, and unsettling privacy violations.
