I attended Law School with Derek after our military service had ended. His knowledge of the VA and government system is second to none. He outlined every step, up front, and gave appropriate estimates on the timeline to achieve our goal of a 100% disability rating from VA. If he felt it was taking longer than it should, he was on the phone, making calls, and getting answers. I have referred countless fellow vets to his office, to include vets I've just met. That is how confident I am in his abilities to take care of our brothers and sisters in arms.

December 2021 I was breathalyzed and had blood drawn. I was definitely not 0.00 BAC and under the age of 21. The next day I immediately began contacting about 15 lawyers. Colby from Stone Rose Law stood out to me because he was quick, honest, and provided multiple possible outcomes. He eased my nerves with his knowledge. He did disclaim he had to review everything in detail to be sure. It sounds silly but I felt safe in their hands and it didn’t feel like I was gambling the outcome. Other lawyers were way expensive or too cheap. I couldn’t afford it or felt ripped off. Theyrein the middle their quality, expertise, and comfort radiating was worth way more than cheaping out. Jake Lee took over my case and he was also amazing! Any questions I had were always answered, I was always in the loop, and he’s simply 10/10 professional. They care. I had an extreme DUI, and I should have served a minimum of 30 days in jail and I only served 1. Colby did a great job at defending me. He was able to get me out of so many things that should’ve happened to me. The most important part to me was that he was available anytime I had questions, and I had a lot of them! He responded to my emails almost immediately. He’s a very personable attorney. I would recommend him to anybody.

I have been struggling with getting my licenses back due to issues with communication between the dmv and myself. Colby was able to get it figured out and solved in a timely manner and was always very nice and professional when talking with me. On top of being nice he also kept me updated throughout the process. Would definitely recommend him to anyone in need of legal help.
