Hired Law Firm

We reached out for help reviewing a legal document. We requested an estimate for their fees and associated costs from the very beginning. They advised it would be provided by the next person we would speak to. The words "it depends" kept coming up without providing a specific amount. Therefore, there was no agreement on amount or payment form. Next thing we know, we start getting invoices via regular mail. They did not deliver any documents, legal advice or help of any kind. We paid the amount requested just to be in good terms with them but after this, we decided to go with a different law firm.
