Absolute worst experience I have ever had with a law group. Bourassa is SUPER shady. I had a discrimination case against my former employer through the EEOC that the attorney, Mikayla Shaw, said she was interested in. I had an initial phone call with her and then was sent a fee agreement after to sign before she could start working on my case. I was hesitant to sign the fee agreement and asked several questions regarding certain parts of the fee agreement. I sent my questions to the woman that sent me the fee agreement, Shawna Goldman, and she advised me to set up a phone call with Mikayla to discuss my questions because she couldn't answer them. Instead of answering any of my questions and clarifying things, they abruptly sent me a non-engagement letter and told me they would not be taking on my case anymore. I asked for their reasoning and received no response. Super unprofessional and shady law group and attorneys!

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
