After researching several local attorneys, I hired David Schacter as my representation in a custody modification case. Admittedly, I was a bit apprehensive about all the five star reviews, but after meeting with him, he just seemed like the right attorney for the job. My case encompassed more than a few complexities, and as a father fighting for his children in the state of Georgia, it seemed like a hopeless mission. Mr. Schacter was prepared and ready to fight from day one. He immediately won an ex-parte order and pulled my children out of a bad situation. The case continued for another year and a half and I watched as Mr. Schacter successfully continued to fight for us. Beyond his legal knowledge and court room skills, you could tell that he genuinely cared about our our well being and best interests. Mr Schacter delivered on results, in a way that no other attorney was able to. He’s worth every penny and every five star review.

I thank God every day that I was awarded custody of my children after an extremely contentious divorce in 2015, but since then my ex-spouse has done everything in her power to make my life hell, even hurting my children to get back at me. I've had many prior lawyers over the years, and I can honestly say that Mr. Schachter is the best lawyer I have ever hired. He is highly respected and came highly recommended to me by a court employee who had seen him in action in past court proceedings and was herself super impressed. Mr. Schachter actually practices about 2 hours away from the county where my case was heard, but our Judge was familiar with him and impressed from prior cases David handled in front of him. In the end I am a father who thanks to Mr. Schachter has primary custody of my children- unusual for this part of the Georgia. David is a great strategist and he makes all the difference in a case. He is the warrior you want on your side in the courtroom. He's not intimidated and doesn't back down. He's the most expensive lawyer I’ve ever hired, but he was worth every dollar I paid him.

I had a very urgent situation that required an emergency protection order. I looked online and read all the amazing reviews and spoke with some friends here in Savannah that couldn't recommend David enough. I was absolutely adamant I needed David for my situation. I phoned David's office and David immediately made time for me despite his busy schedule and it being his day off/ work from home day. I was worried I would be a nervous wreck but David was so kind and caring and instantly put me at ease. After hearing my situation he immediately began drafting a protective order and spent the following three hours with me getting it ready for court. He got me in front of a judge the very next morning despite courts being at limited operations due to Covid 19. David made the situation seem more comfortable. Divorce is the last situation anyone wants to face. David made the divorce and circumstances surrounding the divorce more understandable. If you want an attorney who will fight for you, he and his team will do everything in their ability to resolve your issues surrounding the divorce. You, as the client, will have to provide the information for him to do his job, and David wants you to be a part of the proceedings. Going to court, and going before the judge was unsettling, but David was in his place to perform. David exceeded and surpassed any prior expectations while in court, the courtroom is his place and he will surpass all expectations you have of him. His team, Andrea and Kendra, are very informative and receptive to your needs. While David is tied up in court with other clients, the two provide information to me and answered all questions or relayed the message to David for me.

David is awesome and brilliant. Being a father left shafted by previous attorneys and living in backwoods Ga that has been predominately for the woman, I was losing hope of being an active father to my kids.
