Caitlyn Hood was the most unprofessional attorney we have ever worked with. Her erratic and unorganized behavior was both off putting and it is almost comical she was ever granted a JD. She ran up incredibly unnecessary attorney fees and was all over the place. Even the judge commented on her lack of professionalism. Avoid this attorney at all costs!

Money hungry lawyers. What should have been one of the best days of not only my sons life but ours was extremely stressful and frustrating. We were quoted a retainer and escrow fee during our initial consultation which should have made it to court but it barely made it a few weeks. They turned around and asked for more money. We were charged for them talking to each other, following up on their subpar finger print companies and every other possible thing under the Sun. They did not accurately quote what it would cost for the adoption and made us stress out each time we got an email just waiting to see what we were charged for this time. We were also told we wouldn’t see a home check but guess what? We did! Another $250 paid for someone to walk our house. My husband couldn’t even ask for help when the fingerprinting company they made him go to couldn’t figure out how to accurately get results. They don’t care about clients, only their money. Don’t waste it on them.

If I could give zero stars I would. There are plenty of attorneys out there and you should avoid this one. I had a 1:30PM consultant with Marlys and I rearranged my schedule so I could be at home to take this call. They charged me $50 upfront. I was awaiting the call and when I didn't hear from her, I wrote and email to follow up. I received a phone call 30 minutes after our scheduled appointment and she claimed her previous consultant went over. At this point, I returned to work. I asked to have my deposit refunded since this attorney 'no-showed' me, to which I was told that they have a no-refund policy. I explained that this was not a cancellation or a changing of my mind, but rather their attorney DID NOT show up. They refused and had another person call me to relay the same information and said they could reschedule me or put me with a different attorney. I declined. I will eat the $50, but BEWARE--this is how they treat clients. Money first and foremost and no customer service w

Applying this review to all branch locations so they know what was experienced during my time with their offices. Overall the experience was not great. The people I heard from the most were the billing department always wanting more money even with little being done on the case. I felt like I was being nickeled and dimed to death where I just avoided reaching out because I’d be billed for the most menial of tasks that I could have just done myself. Additionally, I never felt like they truly provided any clear guidance and weren’t working in my best interests. I’ll be seeking other representation for any future legal matters related to custody issues around my divorce. Please also know, I don’t leave reviews often so tread lightly when considering retaining this firm.

I would give a zero of I could. STAY AWAY. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY. DELIVER NOTHING. NEGOTIATE LIKE A 2 YEAR OLD TODDLER SO THAT YOU WILL HAVE TO GO TO COURT. THEN THEY WILL ASK YOU FOR AN ADDITIONAL 5K WITHIN 24 HOURS OF FAILED MEDIATION. HAVE YOU HEARD OF THE TERM "WHITE FEMALE FRAGILITY" , CONSIDER RESEARCHING THIS BEFORE WAISTING YOUR MONEY, TIME, ENERGY, AND QUALITY OF LIFE WITH THIS PLACE. BECAUSE AS SOON AS YOU SHOW ANY PASSION REGARDING YOUR OVERALL DISSATISFACTION, THEY WILL PLAY THE VICTIM AND ASK YOU IF YOU'D PREFER TO DISCONTINUE SERVICES....
