I had a 5 year foreclosure case then ended up being around 50K. The firm made errors that caused delays, were unresponsive much of the time. They were not aggressive enough in their pursuit and the Defendents attorney ran circles around our attorneys. They missed acrucial contact in 1st bankruptcy attempt for filing a removal of stay we had to hire a separate bankruptcy attorney and go through the entire foreclosure process which took 6 months. Once we had the documents. There was a payment dispute and they did not move forward on our case for another 5 months. Our attorney left the firm someone took over. We had to resubmit many documents. because of all the delays the Defendents were eligible again to file for bankruptcy and our trial date was cancelled again. It was a terrible representation in my opinion. We won in the end of course as we had mtg/ note and only received 3 payments. My advise avoid this firm.
Company may be good at other things I'm sure but definitely not with real estate settlements.
Sub standard communication with higher fees.
Legal aids did not respond to either of our calls for days at times.
The charges were quite high for services we received. Our real estate agent suggested this company because we paid for the sellers policy. We expressed our concern to him and explained the lack of communication and the turtle paced return calls, he did apologize. Not rocket science
Choosing an attorney is a very personal and one of the most important and expensive decisions you will ever make. I can only give my experience with this firm and hope it helps someone in making a decision. Upon our first meeting with a partner and another attorney, we were advised they would take our case. We were paired with an attorney who was fairly new and inexperienced in the type of case we had, unbeknownst to us. Communication was extremely poor and very few of our questions were answered, emails not responded to, and phone calls seldomly All through the process we were told by our attorney we had a strong case. In our opinion, by saying that, the firm was able to bill us more money to string us along. In disgust, we eventually dropped our case. We had very poor counsel and I would never use this firm again, nor would I
I called their office and they put me through to "someone" and she was out and I left a message to call me. To date, no one returned my call. I am very disappointed with my first impression of this firm. Cathy B.
