Mr. Clayton represented me in 1997 in a Criminal Defense case. He did a good job of explaining the procedure, accepted my calls, and was very motivated at the time. He or his associate would appear in court for me on some occasions so I wouldn't have to appear. I was ultimately satisfied with the outcome, could he have done a better job? Maybe but given what I paid compared to what other attorneys were asking I think it was fair. He did get me what I was asking for so I can't complain. I have recommended several family members some happy and some were okay with his work but I know every case is different therefore results can't always be great. I can't speak to his current work ethic I can only speak to what he has done for me and my personal experience with him. Would I hire him again? Most likely.

Mr. Michael B. Clayton continued my 'driving on suspended license' case for 9 months with very minimal communication, he would not return my call or constantly requesting more money to further review my case. I had paid him $2500 with my credit card and after nine months he still was requesting another $1000. I researched later on and received a contract from another local attorney to present me for a total fee of $1000. I consider his professional service very poor and his staff very rude.
