I normally don't like dealing with lawyers but I felt very comfortable with Mr. Soo-Hoo. I felt like we've known each other for a long time. He was very comforting and I felt like I could trust him. He spoke to me in plain English and I felt very at ease with him. He would also call occasionally just to check up on how I was doing. I was extremely happy working with him.
He was very knowledgeable and was able to explain things to me very effectively. I felt very comfortable with him and he was there whenever I needed him.
I hired Brian to file a chapter 7 in 2017. When you hire a bankruptcy attorney, you assume they understand all the laws according to the county they are practicing in, right? Not Brian! After all was said and done, the back taxes that were supposed to be included in my chapter 7, were not discharged. You can only discharge taxes from 3 years back. But because I had filed an extension with the IRS, the date I was told by Brian to file was incorrect. Still liable for the back taxes. Bad experience
