I've known attorney Cathy Robertson for more than 10 years now. And I've retained her as my attorney in dozens of complex bankruptcy and commercial litigation matters other those 10 plus years. I cannot recommend Cathy highly enough. She is an outstanding attorney. And make this recommendation having worked with and known hundreds and hundreds of lawyers. Again, I most highly recommend Cathy Robertson.
I lost an appeal because this Law firm, with 12 attorneys, failed to file a timely notice of appeal on my behalf. Instead of taking responsibility for their mistake, they are now demanding that I pay the balance in attorney's fees. I lost a case of $80,000.00 because of their negligence. One of the main factors which drove me to file bankruptcy was due to the fact that Pahl & McCay did not do their job. Although the pending amount for attorney's fees was $5,000.00, Pahl & McCay filed a claim for $22,000.00 in my Bankruptcy case. Pahl & McCay were the first Creditors to file a claim against me for an amount four times higher than the actual debt. At least four of the attorneys in this firm have been involved in trying to collect attorneys' fees from me, however, I don't think any of them were there to advise Servando Sandoval to file the notice of appeal on time on my behalf.
