Hired Attorney

John is as caring, responsive and informative as anyone could hope for. I’d spent several months battling with a former employer for an award that the Labor Commissioner ruled was rightfully mine. Their refusal to pay was stressful and ultimately led to my original lawyer dropping my case. The award was not huge, so I struggled to find a debt enforcement lawyer to take over. Along came John, who couldn’t have been more helpful or compassionate. My case was based in Los Angeles, and he still took me on. The pandemic made things challenging, and he never wavered. John stuck with me and my case, and I’m happy to report he recovered my award and even some interest. I cannot thank him enough for his kindness and hard work.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
