Hired Attorney

worked with Stephen Ruben on my divorce case and it was a complete disaster. He regularly told me things were fine, hang on to the house, your son will be coming home, your prenup has a good chance of holding up....yet all this was wrong. After many tens of thousands of dollars of legal fees, (many for work done by an assistant), he said we had to settle immediately because, "you can't afford to have me litigate". I lost my house in SF, job, (due to the on going poor negotiation skills of Mr Ruben re custody), and so much more....ending in bankruptcy. He also recommended that I file for divorce after she notified me of her intentions to file....and when we served the papers, with language precluding her from removing our son, Mr. Ruben failed to have the documents signed by the Commissioner so they were invalid. My son was gone and a legal battle of years to get half my own son.....ensued. Fell free to contact me for more information.
