    Representative Matters: Secured a nominal settlement on behalf of a Korean manufacturer of batteries in which we demonstrated that our client did not infringe any patents
    therefore wasn't in breach of contract. Plaintiff had originally sought more than $1 million in damages.
    Defended one of several dry cleaning operators at a shopping mall in a $4.5 million PCE contamination suit.
    Secured a favorable settlement for our client, an exporter of automotive parts
    accessories to Asian
    European countries who was sued for breach of contract
    conversion.
    Served on the defense team that won a verdict on behalf of a producer of a popular international music festival after a former worker
    contributor alleged that she was entitled to an ownership interest or other financial stake in the business.
    In a large white collar fraud case, we settled two pending actions against ten defendants for a fraction of the plaintiffs' dem
    . The defendants had left their former employer, a wine
    spirits distribution business, to start a small wine distributorship of their own. The former employer filed a suit alleging 18 causes of action against the defendant. After analyzing more than 2.4 million pages of documents served by plaintiffs, another 120,000 documents provided by our clients, as well as 23 depositions, we successfully pushed back on the plaintiffs' liability
    damage theories by pointing to a number of documents that severely undercut the plaintiffs' case
    navigated complicated insurance coverage issues to negotiate a beneficial settlement.
