I decided I needed a tax attorney to represent me in dealing with the IRS due to having very large prior year taxes due, even though I was current in tax return filings, and having just received notice that the IRS had cancelled a prior installment agreement and were threatening me with wage garnishment, property liens, etc. J. David Tax Law resolved my problem in 46 days and I am very happy with the service of this tax law firm.
I had heard about this law firm from their local radio ad and it came on a the perfect time. I couldn't have asked for more of a blessing than finding them. Jonathan Sooriash took care of my North Carolina and IRS tax problem and stopped my paycheck from being garnished. I really appreciate what you guys did for me and am happy to leave this review.
I had no idea when I started looking for help with my tax debt that I could afford a tax law firm. Turns out I could. Not only that, but I found a great tax attorney who was able to do what two other organizations could not, resolve this tax matter. I cannot say enough about Jonathan and his team. They kept me in the loop and got the result I told them that I needed in order to survive financialy. Thank you again, Jonathan.
For an $8,000 fee, they ended up increasing my tax bill by $4,599.71. That's an approximate 12% increase. I have no idea what these people are playing at. Complete incompetence except in their marketing.
My review is bittersweet unfortunately. I hired JDavid Tax Law over a year ago with a very serious tax situation that I wanted to get completely remediated. During my initial "scoping conversation" with the onboarding representative After a 2 hour conversation, 𝘄𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗴𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝘁𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘂𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝟭𝟰,𝟬𝟬𝟬𝗨𝗦𝗗 at which time I did not have that type of money so I was assured that I could make payments over a period of months to accomodate my financial situation at the time. I was able to finally make the final payment in October of last year with various incidents in between that required both my and JDavid to work. However just last week I was asked for 16000USD to complete my case after I opted to use an external bookeeper for my taxes. Completely unfair and unethical and Im extremely disappointed at this contractual ransom.
I contracted this form to file and negotiate my taxes on my behalf and paid them 4k. They filed the taxes and then when they filed and the balance came back they said they would not negotiate anything on my behalf unless I paid them more money. The contract clearly states that they were to negotiate on my behalf not just file the taxes. Now I'm having to use legal resources from my company to determine if they are in breach of contract.
