I am the Managing Member of an LLC that sold an investment property. The investment didn't go well for the buyer and they sued my LLC. I hired John Howard to represent my LLC and he quickly communicated with the opposing counsel and arranged a mediation. The result was terrific for us. John negotiated a quick resolution that allowed us to retake ownership of the property and add great value to the property. I have known John for roughly 40 years. In that time he has represented me or a company I controlled in about 6 different matters. He has won them ALL! The least successful of these was a contest between Dominion Resources who had acquired a Pennsylvania utility with whom my small company (Power Partners) had joined with to build a new power plant on the island of Kauai. They were to provide the cash, we the expertise to permit and build an innovative steam injected machine. Dominion declined to honor an agreement to pay Power Partners the $2,000,000 owed upon successful licensing and development. Against a huge company who employed three major law firms, John prevailed in a jury trial following years of resistance by Dominion. We won, but the jury reduced the monetary sum for reasons of contractual vagueness drafted by me, not John. That was a disappointment, but another success nonetheless. I strongly recommend him as an efficient, cost effective& very capable counselor.
