Prior to opening her law practice, Ms. Yum gained invaluable experience as a prosecutor at the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office. She prosecuted a wide variety of complex criminal matters including Domestic Violence, General Felonies, Grand Theft Auto, Career Criminal, Criminal Street Gangs, and Sexual Assault/Child Abuse. Hired Attorney

I came to the Law Offices of Anna R. Yum with a pending felony charge. Over the course of eight months I worked with Julia Kaneshiro who was exceedingly responsive, capable, and knowledgable. She successfully negotiated my charge down to a misdemeanor with no probation time or fines and fees, and my charge is now eligible for expungement. Everyone I came into contact with at the firm was extremely kind and professional, and I would highly recommend them to anyone facing legal trouble.

Hired Attorney

I had the distinct displeasure of engaging Anna Yum as my legal representative. Initially, she seemed compassionate and diligent, frequently calling during my search for representation. However, once I hired her, communication became a rare luxury. She was often nonresponsive and led me inevitably towards a conviction due to her staggering lack of preparation and sheer negligence. Despite clear evidence and witnesses in my favor, Anna's approach was lackadaisical. She neglected to file any motions, failed to contest certain charges at my preliminary hearing, and disgracefully reviewed evidence just days before court. Her communication skills were woefully inadequate, and she seemed more interested in amassing a hefty caseload than providing quality counsel. For this so-called service, Anna charged approximately $27,000. I wisely sought alternative counsel, who filed several motions and ultimately got my case dismissed. The private investigator she recommended was equally inept, cost
