Epperson & Owens, P.C. was originally founded on June 1, 1895 by Samuel W. Stewart and Charles B. Stewart. Stewart & Stewart officed in the same building and floor as Epperson & Owens, P.C. which is now led by Charles' great grandson, David H. Epperson.

Epperson & Owens, P.C. is listed in the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers and in Best's Directory of Recommended Insurance Attorneys.

The firm of Epperson & Owens represents many of the largest insurance carriers and healthcare providers doing business within the State of Utah. This specialty of the firm has a historic precedent, for in the late 1920's and early 1930's the firm began concentrating on insurance defense cases and continues to represent clients in cases of professional malpractice and liability, personal injury, automobile, and product liability.

Scott is a very competent, hard working and compassionate attorney. He succeeded in having the malpractice case dropped even before the pre-litigation hearing. I would definitely work with Scott again and refer him to other Physicians who are involved in a malpractice suit. Thanks for the great work Scott!

Being sued is stressful and scary. Scott walked me through and assured me at every step that I would be okay. He answered calls nearly every time and got back to be quickly when he couldn't. He is competent and sees through when the law suit is really ridiculous and about more other factors than actually what is being claimed. He is very knowledgeable about different aspects and this helped to reduce my anxiety through a very long process.
