I hired this attorney to represent me in a child support enforcement case because I needed help moving my case forward and protecting my rights. Instead of enforcing my case, he filed a dismissal that closed it without a hearing and without my authorization. That was not what I asked for, and it was not what I hired him to do. When I found out that my case had been dismissed, I was shocked and extremely concerned. I never instructed him to close my case. I had to personally step in and file my own motion with the court to explain that the dismissal was wrong and did not reflect my wishes. I had to make it clear to the court that I did not consent to my case being shut down. Because I took action myself, the case was reopened. If I had not reviewed the filings and acted quickly, my child support enforcement matter could have remained closed. No client should have to fix their own case after hiring an attorney to handle it. This experience caused unnecessary stress, confusion.
My experiences with Attorney Hernan Castro have been profoundly disappointing and distressing, prompting me to write this review to inform others considering his legal services. During my legal proceedings involving child support issues, I found Mr. Castro’s conduct to be highly questionable and deeply concerning. Mr. Castro was responsible for drafting legal documents that were misleading and contained language that significantly impacted my case adversely. This language was not discussed nor agreed upon during court proceedings, which I believe was a strategic move to disadvantage me in my legal battle. Furthermore, in a crucial hearing regarding my driver’s license suspension, Mr. Castro made statements that were directly contradicted by the facts at hand. It was clear to me that my license was indeed suspended due to actions his office took, yet he informed the court otherwise. This misinformation undermined the integrity of the legal process. Liar liar. Don’t Hire!
