H. William Edgar is a Riverside-based family law attorney with more than 25 years of experience representing clients in divorce, custody, and support matters throughout Southern California. A lifelong member of the Riverside community, Mr. Edgar attended Arlington High School before earning his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He received his Juris Doctor from Southwestern University School of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1998.
Mr. Edgar is the founder of the Law Offices of H. William Edgar and serves as principal trial attorney. Since 2004, his practice has been devoted exclusively to family law. He handles a wide range of matters, including complex property division, high-conflict custody disputes, and post-judgment modifications. While he works to resolve cases efficiently where appropriate, he maintains an active trial practice and regularly litigates contested matters.
In addition to trial work, Mr. Edgar has experience in appellate practice and has appeared before the California Court of Appeal. He is well-regarded among colleagues and is familiar with the procedures and expectations of courts throughout Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange, and Los Angeles Counties.
