the lawyer I worked with was hateful, no personality, unsympathetic and the experience was super rushed
Just wanted to put out there that I went to this firm a few years ago. And my experience was horrible, I had just moved down here to VA and had lost my job and had debt that I was unable to pay. I decided to go ahead with a bankruptcy that never happened I gave the lawyer a $900.00 down payment and that was it. I never heard from the lawyer again. No follow up calls from him to see how the process was going. He honestly made me feel uncomfortable and felt like I was the worst person on earth for deciding to go bankrupt. To some lawyers $900.00 is a little chump change, however this lawyer must of needed more then I did. Not that I can afford to give $900.00 away. I partially blame myself for not following up as well. But overall that lawyer was not professional,he did he make me feel comfortable, or compassionat at all he was all about the money.
**They called me one morning repeatedly to tell me NOT to show up for zoom COURT. Guess what I was penalized for that, the trustee said I didn’t show up, however I did show, but after being hounded to get OFF the zoom, I followed Bolemans advice. {makes me wonder why they did that }** I wasted money getting insurance I didn’t need, they know how this works. ** **They LIED to me and told me I was getting all the money back I paid to the trustee after I convert. I recieved a check for $2. **Trustee explained to me why that info was wrong. She asked me the name of lawyer, his name is Laureen, however I couldn’t think of it at the time. **My car lender sent them paperwork, they were going sign on my behalf, without explaining it to me, I had to tell them not to do that, I rather the lender go to court as that buys me more time. So many lies that cost me so much money. **After the court, I called to get details, I’m not sure if it was Kim Ruffin but the girl was so rude and short.
THEY WANT YOUR MONEY AND NOT YOUR QUESTIONS{para}Asked very basic and simple questions regarding how my life will change after restructuring. Mrs. Jennifer Langely, an attorney, felt that I was questioning her integrity by asking so many questions and said I should leave. She claims that it wasn't a Black thing against me and that there are other "Ethnic" people in their office. They took about $500 from my $900.
Scum Bag I met with this attorney. He was flirtatious and inappropriate. He made lewd comments and suggested sexual activity. I was in a crisis situation and in need of a professional. He definitely caught me off guard, I was highly offended and thought about reporting him to the State Bar Association. Needless to say, I took my need of assistance to another firm.
I called Boleman Law Firm to schedule a consultation for bankruptcy. I was scheduled with Lorin Hay. I met with this attorney. It was an emotional and devastating situation. He came across as flirtatious and was definitely inappropriate. He made lewd comments and hinted at sexual activity. I was definitely caught off guard, highly offended and thought about reporting him to the State Bar Association. Needless to say, I didn’t hire him or the firm.
I've been working with Patrick and I cannot even begin to explain the appreciation that I have for him he is explained everything to the fullest he has made sure that I understood everything and not had one question he has helped me through any and all questions that I've had he's made this the easiest process possible.
Very rude and condescending to minorities. Made multiple mistakes and tried to put the blame on me. Would not recommend! They are sharks and have no idea what the word compassion or respect means like their code of ethics say they will have.
After four years with this firm, my problem was not resolved. Getting a call back or help after the fact was non-existant. If you want to come out better in the end, skip this firm.
I got passed around from team member, they took my money, the while I was active in the bankruptcy they kept jacking up my weekly pay so that it got so high that I was actually having 389.00 A WEEK coming out of my pay.. now who can live off of that.. and this is AFTER it was approved by the ?? (mediator) I can't remember what you call them... The main purpose for the bankruptcy was to get straight on my cheating mortgage company and they continued even after I filed for Chapter 13.
