Swartz and Jones is a law firm established in 1976 with an office in Redding, CA. At this office location, there are 2 lawyers practicing family law, divorce, custody and 30 other areas of law.
Russell Swartz is by far the worst attorney. 6 months to 1 year divorce that I was told it would take ended up taking 4 years. It finally was over once my ex husbands attorney went to the judge to move the divorce forward because Swartz was refusing to leasing to my pleas. Beside his $14,000 + thousand dollars he changed me for a uncontested divorce he cost me 1 year of my half of my benefits because he was refusing to withdraw from my case. I had to file in court to have Swartz removed
I embarrassingly hired Brandy Jones in 2013 to help me with custody of my children. I wanted to do what was best for each child, my son enjoyed being with his father more and my daughter was best with me... she fired (me) and made me feel like a poor mother because I was doing what was best for the children. She didn’t help with anything in court for me, the only thing she did well was take my money. I won my case finally thanks to Rupert Corkill! He was worth every dime.
I have to hire another attorney to clean up the legal mess Swartz left me in. Once I gave over my deposit, it became very clear Swartz was incapable of helping me with my Divorce. My Ex used Rupert Corkill who is less than half the cost of Swartz, and was 110% more effective in court. Swartz refused to finish the tasks he was hired to do. Do yourself a favor and find anyone else!!!
