Patrick L. Deedon is a partner in the firm with a practice emphasis on civil litigation, insurance defense, and accident injuries in state and federal jurisdictions for both private and public sector clients. Mr. Deedon has handled a wide variety of matters involving serious personal injuries, product defects, employment litigation, complex business disputes, trust litigation, and appellate matters.
Mr. Deedon received a Bachelor of Arts Degree with highest honors in Public Administration, with an option in Criminal Justice, from California State University, Chico in 2002. While at CSU, Chico, he was admitted into the Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society wherein he served as Treasurer. Mr. Deedon received his Juris Doctor, with cum laude distinction, from Cal Northern School of Law in 2006. Mr. Deedon received multiple Witkin Awards for Academic Excellence in the areas of: Civil Procedure, Estate Planning, Wills, Trusts, Taxation, Advanced Legal Writing, and Professional Responsibility.
Mr. Deedon is a member of the State Bar of California and admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Eastern Districts of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Mr. Deedon is a member of the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada (ADCNCN), the Defense Research Institute (DRI), and an associate member of the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys (ADTA). He is formerly the Vice-Chair of the Litigation Sub-Law Committee for ADCNCN. He is a member of the Shasta Trinity Counties Bar Association and has served as President, Vice President, and Past President. In 2013 and 2014, Mr. Deedon was named as one of Northern California’s Rising Stars. He is a volunteer attorney coach for the Youth Violence Prevention Council’s Peer Court program and a member of the Exchange Club of Redding, California. Outside the practice of law, Mr. Deedon enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and seven children. As time permits, he enjoys outdoor activities such as biking, fishing, and hunting.
