Scott was approachable, affable and affordable. When you are struggling financially, the affordable part is not just nice to have. He was patient with my many questions, and seemed to effortlessly navigate the backend workings. All I had to do was give him my debts, meet once with the Trustee (very decent guy, that Trustee Mr. Fessenden)and sign some documents. After that I made some nominal payments each month and was able to keep my car and home. What more could I ask for in this circumstance.

I had a one hour meeting with Scott 2 days ago, and he gave me more useful information than all others combined. His style is modest, belying a superior intellectual capacity. I have spent tens of thousands on lawyers, most of it wasted. The really good ones don't spend all their time telling you how great they are, or how low you are in comparison. The are your ally. Scott is a compassionate man and a damn good attorney. Out of the 30 or so lawyers I have hired, he is one of the best.

Scott failed to warn me that my student loan rehabilitation program would be affected by filing. Agencies told me i had to restart the programs. I brought it to his attention & he shamed me for believing them. After my discharge, i asked for his help then he tells me i should restart the program. 4 months invested down the drain. He never admitted his negligence. Cant pay for school now. He was 1 hour late for the meeting of creditors.There were times he would not greet me. Very disrespectful.

This guy is a joke he tries to have you say things you never say and then tries to have you say things like you signed something you never signed I think he works with the other attorney and give them a cut stay a way from this guy and find a good attorney that will do his job.

I try not to go out of my way to leave scathing reviews, but once in a great while, it's warranted. Dealing with Scott Logan as my Ch. 13 bankruptcy lawyer was less pleasant than eating glass and chasing it with gasoline. He is the most condescending and passive/aggressive person I've ever encountered in any professional relationship. Not once not twice, not even three times - but consistently over the course of three years in bankruptcy. It felt like he was working against me rather than for me. Of course, he got paid handsomely when I bought out my bankruptcy, which I did in large part so I wouldn't have to deal with him again. Because I guarantee that's all he cares about! Folks, do yourselves a favor and stay far, far away from Mr. Logan. Your sanity will thank you.

I was very disappointed in this attorneys attitude, demeanor, and most importantly, his lack of skills. He took forever to get papers completed, ignored my calls, and then billed me well over what he verbally told me. I feel that his fee agreement is vague. You can expect that he will demand well over what he initially quotes you. I would not mind opposing counsel thought. His fees well exceed the norm & other attorney have been shocked by his fees. Don't go there.

ME My initial consultation with Atty Logan was in July, 2009. I paid him the retainer to file a Ch 13 after being diagnosed with a serious illness. He did not contact me again until January, 2010 and therefore took five months to file simple Ch 13 paperwork for a single person. He was very difficult to deal with. He did not present me or the court with a bill for over two years. I lost a house to foreclosure in 2010.
