James Pratt is a great guy and truly wants to help. He was through and worked hard for me. The way that he handled my case was commendable and I highly recommend James Pratt. I've met several people who had the same situation as me with very different outcomes and when they ask me "how?" I simply respond, James Pratt.

I contacted Jim to assist with a custody matter involving my children, who were taken out of state by their father and not returned. From the initial phone call, Jim was polite, professional, and responsive. He was able to schedule an appointment quickly, which was critically important given the urgency and seriousness of my situation. Jim was direct, highly knowledgeable, and demonstrated a strong command of family and criminal law. He appeared at every court date, prepared orders in a timely manner, and consistently provided clear, thorough answers to all of my questions. What began as a custody issue ultimately escalated into a criminal matter, and Jim went above and beyond to support me throughout the process. He ensured he was available when needed, advocated on my behalf, and even assisted during interactions with law enforcement. Jim remained committed from start to finish he never gave up. Despite the complexity and challenges of the case, he successfully resolved it.

Worst lawyer I’ve ever encountered. Did not advise me of my legal rights. Had to fire him at sentencing and hire another. His communication is non existent. This guy won’t let you get a word in talks over you and is the rudest most unprofessional person I’ve ever encountered. Asked him for my file so I can file a grievance against him and he refuses to give me any of my paperwork. I would steer clear of this so called “attorney” He left me in a mess of debt and refuses to give me a refund even though he clearly committed legal malpractice with my case

Horrible Lawyer!!! Did not relay information correctly or take anything of my debt into consideration. Left me in OVER 66K worth of debt from a divorce case without making the marital debt joint, along with telling me to just file bankruptcy with the amount I owe my Ex husband which is not allowed.... Made me pay for MY vehicle and was going to leave a single mother with SOLE physical custody with NO vehicle, he did not want to even fight for the car for me. Debt associated with car was paid for through child support deviations and yet still showing I owe this money in judgement of divorce. Made me pay for a 4 wheeler that was the KIDS 4 wheeler NOT a marital property. Signed exclusive use and possession of the marital home but let the other party put in the judgement of divorce I owe the deficit of the selling of the marital home. Never told me the date for divorce hearing date, or enter judgement date. I never was given a copy of the Judgement of Divorce to REVIEW before finalized..
