Mr. Ron S. Bilu has been married to his beloved wife Patty since 2004 and shortly thereafter they welcomed their three daughters, who have been the love of their lives ever since. They live in Parkland, Florida and Ron is proud to have been a Parkland resident since 1988.
In 2017, Ron was proud to be named one of the Top 10% In The USA for Real Estate & Property Lawyers and was bestowed the honor of a national ‘Lawyer of Distinction’. Ron is rated with a 10.0 rating by Avvo, which is the highest and most elusive rating an attorney can achieve with the company. In 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 & 2017, Ron was selected by Super Lawyers for inclusion on the FLORIDA RISING STARS list, an honor reserved only for those lawyers who have shown excellence in law practice. No more than 2.5% of lawyers 40 years old or younger, or in practice for ten years or less, in Florida are named to the RISING STARS list. In 2016 and 2017, Ron was named one of the ’10 Best Attorneys’ in Florida for Litigation, Lawsuits and Disputes. In 2016 and 2017, Ron was named ‘Top Up & Comer’, an award given to the most promising and effective young professionals in Florida by South Florida Legal Guide. Ron co-authored the book, ‘Inside the Minds: Strategies For Defending Florida Foreclosures,’ which was published by Aspatore Books, a Thomson Reuters publication. Ron is a title attorney and a member of The Fund a.k.a. ‘Attorneys Title Insurance Fund’, and is authorized to write as an agent of Old Republic National Title Insurance Company.
Since being admitted to the Florida Bar in 2003, Ron has practiced in a number of fields, including complex Real Estate Law, Foreclosure Defense, Insurance, Bankruptcy, State and Local Taxation, Investment and Securities Litigation, Family Law, Personal Injury, Intellectual Property, Corporate Law, Commercial Litigation, and many types of Civil Litigation. He founded his law firm along with his first cousin and partner, Geil. Since they opened their doors in 2003, the firm has performed over 3,000 real estate closings, both commercial and residential, short sale and otherwise, and has succeeded in numerous real estate litigation proceedings. He is able to perform title closings in all 67 counties in the state of Florida. Mr. Bilu was selected by the Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA) to direct the NHBA’s & FHBA’s statewide impact fee political informational campaign. Mr. Bilu was also the Top Scorer in the State of Florida in Business Communications Ranked by FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America).
Ron is a graduate of the University of Florida, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science in Advertising and a minor in Criminal Justice in 1998. In 2001, he received a Masters of Science in Business Management from the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida. He graduated with his Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2002. Ron is a Member of the esteemed society of Phi Kappa Phi (Top 5% of U.S. College Graduates), a Member in Good Standing of the Florida Bar, the Golden Key National Honor Society, the American Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity and a member of the Real Property Section, Business Section, and Young Lawyer’s Division of the Florida Bar. Ron is very active in the South Florida community and has performed over 750 hours of volunteer community service, receiving the Silver Cord Award for public service in the City of Parkland, Florida.
