Rothman Gordon is a Pittsburgh-based law firm that has been advocating for its clients’ interests since 1954. Rothman Gordon has created a suite of services for individuals, organizations, and closely-held and family businesses.

Based in Pittsburgh since 1954, Rothman Gordon is a full-service law firm that represents clients throughout Western Pennsylvania. With nearly 30 attorneys on staff, we are able to serve clients in a variety of practice areas including business and corporate law; estate planning; commercial real estate; construction law; white collar criminal law; oil and gas for landowners; alternative dispute resolution; workers’ compensation and Social Security disability and more. We are small enough to provide clients with personalized attention and big enough to provide them with a specialized, sophisticated level of legal service. As a longstanding member of the community, we treat our clients like our neighbors and want to be a positive force in our city. Doug Denardo worked with us to begin and refine our estate planning over the last few years. We've had some fairly complicated (to us, anyway) issues to consider, and he was very patient in working through them with us, explaining things thoroughly and making sure we were comfortable with our plan, as well as checking in with us afterward. We regret having to switch to another firm when we move out of state.

My husband and I worked with Colleen Johnston, Jim Carroll, and Lori Miller. They were extremely professional and responsive with a good amount of tenacity. They were all understanding as to the emotional nature of pursuing litigation and explained each step of the process along the way. I would highly recommend using this firm.

Over the past 4 years I have had an opportunity to have Colleen Johnston as my counsel. I chose the word counsel deliberately. Colleen embodies the essence of the word. During times of crisis, as is often the case when there is a need for legal representation, there is a tremendous and overwhelming sense of emotion ranging from fear, anger, denial to retribution. What Colleen is able to do so uniquely is display complete calmness while totally engaging and being empathetic.

My attorney at Rothman Gordon was Colleen Ramage Johnston and Lori Miller, we couldn't have asked for a better team. I never had to use a attorney before so I didn't really know how this would work, but Colleen explain it every step of the way. We couldn't believe the time and effort they put into helping us and the rest of her team, they made us feel like they really cared. There's no reason in the world that I wouldn't recommend Rothman Gordon to someone especially Colleen Johnston. Thanks
