I would like to thank Jaburg Wilk Law Firm, specifically, David Uffens and Philomena Patino, for the incredible work they did handling my case. From the moment I retained them, there was an instant relief of stress lifted from my shoulders. They took the time to understand my situation, displayed genuine empathy, and helped me navigate one of the most stressful times in my life. We were able to come up with a separation agreement that addressed many of the significant issues in the beginning that I believe set me up for success later in the divorce. From the time I retained them to when I was legally divorced, it took about 10 months to resolve. Communication was great and I was kept up to date on everything through the entire process. I knew exactly where I was at from beginning to end and if I had any questions, they took the time to explain and give me reassurance. I would 100% recommend anyone who may find themselves in this situation and would rate my experience a 10/10.

I've litigated various kinds of matters for 25 years, but I wasn't about to even try and handle my own family law matter, especially one that was as complex and difficult as ours (moving children out of state). That said, I know a good lawyer when I see one. Not only was Philomena incredibly responsive, but she was also thorough, easy to work with, prepared and -- most important -- had the kind of mature judgment that was needed to carefully thread the needle in our case to get the desired result.
